Steve Lawson's early introduction to the world of entertainment was in Liverpool, England. He migrated to Australia in 1980.
Since arriving in Australia, Steve has worked with a number of Melbourne based rock groups as a vocalist performing a wide variety of popular Rock-n-Roll. He is also an accomplished guitarist.
The development of his Buddy Holly tribute show saw Steve's popularity increase as he performed with Australia's most authentic rock group - the Allstars. With the Allstars, Steve has performed at some of Melbourne's most prestigious venues, including the Melbourne Concert Hall.
Steve was also a member of The Musicmen and with this group, performed at the AFL Centenary Grand Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
As Buddy Holly, Steve Lawson and the Allstars present all of the Holly classics including "That'll be the day", "Peggy Sue", "Everyday", "Maybe baby" and "Heartbeat".
